Belly

Wow. I've been really quiet on this blog for quite a while hmmmm? Well no more! I've got lots of stuff coming up and you'll get all the gory details right here.

It's been a year since I had done a maternity shoot. I was sooooo excited when this mama contacted me about capturing her 'bump'.

Such a fun mama! She is gorgeous, confident and serene as you will see in the images. And oh my goodness you can FEEL the love she has for her man and her little one. I had such a good time .

This reminds me of a 50's pinup model...no? She is one hot mama, let me tell you. ;)

Bed rest? My arse!!! This lady knows how to work the camera!

This is Maya. Oh my heavens is she beautiful....and can't wait for her little brother to come out!

And look at these two would ya. Love......it's palpable.

We are a family.

Thank you Olivares family for letting me into your home and capturing these sweet moments. It was a joy. Your openness and creative energy was thrilling.

I can't wait to meet Baby B.....keep an eye out people you'll be seeing him here soon. ;)

Be still my uterus.....

Ohhhhh, this baby. Literally made my uterus twitchy.

She was an absolute delight to shoot. She was snoozing most of the time, and when she wasn't she didn't make a peep. She gets a gold star for good behavior.

This little girls mama and I have a history. She used to babysit for my two older kids when they were really little, and I used to teach a young girls class at church that she was a part of. I believe she was 12-13 at the time. We became quite close, she used to spend the night with me and we would go on shopping trips together. So, it was extra special that I got to take her newborn's pics. Such a privilege, thank you Jessie.

Trashing the dress....not for the faint of heart.

Meet Macey. She is my Trash the Dress queen.

What is Trash the Dress you ask?

Just a fun little photo session, maybe to spice up your senior pics, yes?

Take your old prom dress, or thrift store find.....and get a little WILD.

Life's to short to be serious.......Trash that dress.

Blue eyed lady...lovely lady.

Meet Aimee.

Isn't she lovely? Those blue eyes.....I'm telling you this girl is gorgeous!!! And such a sweetheart. Aimee is the first senior to reply to my request for 2010 models. And lucky me, she is a beauty, inside and out!

Amiee is from Danville...my alma mater. Woot, woot! So we trekked around town, my old high school stomping grounds, and snapped the afternoon away.

This is the first time I've done a photo shoot in D-ville since starting my photography biz. I have so many good memories of growing up there, such a great place to raise kids.

And can this girl strut her stuff or what? I think so. And I'm still needing a few more models people...so tell your friends. Don't miss out on this opportunity. It's great fun I tell ya, just ask Aimee. ;)

Babies, babies and more babies!

So, I've done 2 newborn shoots in one week!! Whew! Is there anything sweeter though? Not at all. Especially this little boy. Such a sweetheart. He was such a little trooper, he made my heart melt! 16 days old and on the road for modeling....maybe I'll hire him some day! :)

I had such a good time at this session, his mom and dad were fabulous and uncle Joe wasn't bad either. It was so great to be with you all.

Laila.....you've got me on my knees.

Meet Laila. She is two weeks old in this picture. And very, very angry. :) But it's so cute right? Laila belongs to Landon and Hailey....I did their couple/maternity shoot a little over a month ago. Don't they make a beautiful little girl?

Anyways...Miss L was anything but happy during our session. I guess she doesn't like having a camera pointed in her face. Tsk, Tsk, Laila...your mama needs to teach you how to strike a pose. ;) Sadly, most of the pics I got were of a crying little girl. But, I think we will try again...but maybe bribe her with chocolate?

Just kidding...she is beautiful, crying or no.
